"The Last Book Sale"

How To Bid

Bidding for "The Last Book Sale" in Archer City, TX will be limited to live bidders, on-site.  However, bidders who may not be able to stay for the entire auction, and/or will be returning to collect any won lots at the end of the sale, will be able to leave absentee bids.  Upon approval, phone bids may be accepted for bidding on the Goodspeed's sign to be sold on day 2 of the auction. 

Registration Information

As all bidding will take place on-site, bidders will be able to register in person at the sale venue.  Registration will be available during the preview days as well as on the auction days.  There is no registration fee, and each bidder is allowed to bring one guest to the sale floor.  For non-bidding guests not accompanied by a registered bidder, an entrance fee of $50 will be required to gain entrance to the preview and/or sale.  Non-bidder guests who pay the entrance fee will have access to all events, food, and other privileges provided to the registered bidders.  IMPORTANT:  TAX-EXEMPT BUYERS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR STATE OF RESIDENCE, MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF TAX-EXEMPT STATUS (RESALE CERTIFICATE) UPON REGISTRATION TO AVOID PAYING SALES TAXES.

Buyer's Premium

The buyer's premium for "The Last Book Sale" will be a flat 20% of the hammer price regardless of payment method.

Payment Options

Payment for all lots will be due immediately following the sale.  Payment may be made by credit card, debit card, cash, or check.  Checks must clear before property is removed.

Load-Out, Removal of Won Lots

No shipping service will be available for this sale;  however, buyers may use a third party shipper at their discretion and risk.  Buyers are responsible for the boxing and load-out of items won;  Addison & Sarova will provide oversight and some assistance with hand-trucks, and etc.  We will also provide logistical support to assist buyers with collection and transport of property.  If buyers cannot remove all won lots immediately, the lots may be left for 14 days following the sale to provide sufficient time for buyers to return and collect lots won.  For information on rental trucks, accomodations, travel information and assistance, please click here.
